The inspiration for Qualicum Arbutus came from a walk with family while on vacation in Qualicum Beach prior to moving to the area. I came across this magnificent tree and I knew I had to photograph it to paint. The beautiful twists and turns of the limbs and gradual slope of the main trunk and vibrant and saturated colors captivated me. It has been a true gift to spend time re-creating this beautiful specimen.
These limited edition prints are reproduced on 100% cotton rag, acid free, archival cold press fine art paper using archival pigmented inks. Each print comes signed, numbered, titled, and with a certificate of authenticity stating the number of your particular print (in a run of 250).
